Staying at Beekse Bergen with HolidayParkSpecials

We love traveling and we love trying new things so when we were invited to visit Beekse Bergen with HolidayParkSpecials during the Easter Holidays I couldn’t say no. Beekse Bergen is in the south of the Netherlands and it was really easy to get to from Eindhoven airport. We flew into Eindhoven from Manchester with Ryanair and it cost just under £340 for the four of us with three checked suitcases. Now I suppose we could have done hand luggage and saved quite a bit of money but I prefer not to have the stress of going through security with luggage as well as then getting the bags onto the plane.

Checking in at Beekse Bergen was really easy and we were soon heading to our HolidayParkSpecials Jungalow (a jungle themed bungalow). We were staying in a Leopard jungalow which was situated close to the hub of the park but far enough away that we were not too close.

Our Leopard jungalow was the perfect base for our time in Beekse Bergen and it could easily sleep 6 people. We had a double room, a twin room and a room with bunk beds. We asked for the bedding package which meant that all of that was provided for us but if you were to drive over then you could always bring your own and cut down the cost. We actually loved the bedding as it was jungle themed and really went well with the decor.

As well as the bedrooms we had a bathroom with a shower and a huge open plan living room/dining room/kitchen area. I loved the open plan set up and the fact that we had floor to ceiling windows that allowed us to look out over the lake and the surrounding scenery.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need to cater for ourselves including a dishwasher which meant that hubby was able to have a holiday from doing the washing up.

The site that we were staying on had lots of play areas for the kids to enjoy including inflatable pillows and a beach area. The centre of the site there was a large building that housed the kids club, the small supermarket, the swimming pool and restaurant. It was also where you could hire a range of equipment such as bikes, family go karts and the mini golf clubs.

As part of our stay with HolidayParkSpecials we were given a funcard which gave us free access to seven Zoover parks. This included two which were connected to the site we were staying, the Beekse Bergen Safari Park and the Speelland Beekse Bergen (or Playland Beekse Bergen).

There is transport provided to these two parks from the main club house site including the Chimpanship to Speelland and the coach or train to the Safari Park. You can find out more about Speelland and the Safari Park at Beekse Bergen in my post later this week.

We had an amazing time staying at Beekse Bergen with HolidayParkSpecials. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer as there was so much that we couldn’t do. The Jungalow was an ideal base for us offering home comforts and lots of space but they do also offer other accommodation types which look brilliant too. You can find out more about the parks and the other accommodation available on the HolidayParkSpecials Beekse Bergen website

  1. Hi, we are looking at going to the campsite in the summer and wondered how you got to the site from the airport?

    Thanks
