100 years of Magic at Disney On Ice

We are huge fans of Disney on Ice and we have been going to the shows ever since we had the girls. We are definitely a Disney loving family and the Disney on Ice shows really help to bring the stories to life in a new way. If you have yet to see one of the shows then I definitely recommend it and with the new 100 Years of Magic show featuring so many of our favourite movies, it is the ideal introduction to Disney on Ice.

The 100 years of Magic has over 50 Disney characters taking to the ice in some spectacular skating displays to tell the stories we all know and love. With an amazing mix of music, skating and backdrops it really helps to bring the Disney stories to life in a way that captures the imagination of fans young and old.

The 100 years of Magic show will have the audience dancing and singing along as the skaters bring to life some of our favourite musical numbers with 30 songs including “You’ve got a friend in me”, “Let it go”, “A whole new world” and “At last I see the light”. If you manage to watch the show and not sing along at some point then I would be really surprised.

The whole show is presented by the Mouse-ter of ceremonies Mickey Mouse, helped along by Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy.  The show will also feature characters from Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and our favourite princesses among others. In fact, you will be amazed how they manage to fit so many characters into one show.

The Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic show will also feature an energetic ‘Fit To Dance’ preshow, which aims to inspire everyone to have fun and be active through storytelling and dance. It is definitely worth not missing this so try to arrive early so you can have a little boogie at your seat before the main show begins.

The 100 Years of Magic show will be visiting Glasgow, Leeds, London, Cardiff and Birmingham from 15th March to 16th April. To find out more about the dates and to book tickets visit  www.disneyonice.com
