Could your school win the Ultimate School Trip? #Jet2holidays #UltimateSchoolTrip

When I look back on school trips they were pretty boring. I remember a few trips to local museums or a theatre every now and then but nothing that really made memories. A good school trip can get classes bonded together and create the most amazing memories and Jet2Holidays want to help. They have just launched a competition where nine classes of school children from the UK can win the Ultimate School trip.

The idea of the Ultimate School Trip came from research that shows school children want 10 holidays a year and all of their school friends with them. It seems that kids also want Simon Cowell to be the next prime minister followed by other celebrities such as Arianna Grande and Dick & Dom. They also want mandatory three-day weekends, no limits of screen time and for their parents to spend less time at work.

The Ultimate School Trip competition is open to schools across the UK who are in with a chance of winning a long weekend trip to Sol Katmandu Park & Resort in Majorca for a whole class of 9-13 year olds. The nine winning classes and their teachers will travel on Friday 20th April to Sunday 22nd April 2018 for a fun packed yet educational weekend as they attend workshops with celebrity hosts, Dick & Dom. It isn’t all work and no play, the classes will be treated like VIPs with special send offs, a welcome dinner and even the Ultimate School Disco and show.

To enter, pupils need to get their imaginations going and create something to help promote the Sol Katmandu Park & Resort. This could be a piece of art work, a poem, a song, video, dance, basically whatever they can imagine. Check out this video below for inspiration.

Judged by Dick & Dom, they will create a shortlist of five schools in each of the Jet2holidays’ nine airport regions. Those schools will then go to a public vote with the winning nine classes announced on Tuesday 13th March 2018. All of the 45 schools shortlisted by Dick & Dom will receive £1,000 worth of school equipment vouchers.

You can find out more about the competition, request your entry pack and read the terms and conditions at ultimateschooltrip.jet2holidays.com. Schools must submit their entries by Wednesday 28th February 2018.
