With the sun finally making an appearance this week and the start of the summer holidays just around the corner it is time to start planning all of the wonderful things you will do with your kids this summer. Getting outside and having fun during the summer break is one of the most important things that you can do together and whether that is a family bike ride to the park or a stroll around the hills catching Pokemon, getting out in the fresh air helps to create some amazing memories. To help us celebrate summer and the great outdoors the Caravan Club has launched the Big Little Tent Festival and they are hoping you are going to get involved.
The Big Little Tent Festival is all about getting outdoors and sleeping under the stars. Cooking over a fire, telling stories by torch light and generally just spending time together as a family without the distraction of technology.
As one of the official Big Little Tent Festival Families we will be putting up our tent and dusting off the barbecue ready to spend some quality time together in the garden.
If you have never been camping before then setting up a tent in the garden is the ideal first experience. With the comforts and facilities of home close by it is a great way to introduce your kids to sleeping in the great outdoors and if you forget something then you only have to pop into the house to get it.
To help you get into the festival spirit you can sign up to receive your very own Big Little Ten Festival pack which includes bunting, flags, stickers and festival wristbands which really make it special.
Everyone who signs up to receive a Big Little Tent Festival pack will be entered into a prize draw to win a European camping holiday for four people at the beautiful Campsite Port’Land in France.
