When I was at the Toy Fair back in January I really enjoyed looking at the Learning Resources stand. There were so many fabulous educational toys to look at but the one that really caught my eye was Gears! Gears! Gears! and in particular the Build and Bloom Flower Garden.
Learning Resources sent one for the girls to play with and it was a huge hit straight away. To begin with Elizabeth designed her own patterns and was really intrigued to see the cause and effect of where she placed the gears.
We then used the instruction booklet to build the design on the box. Both girls really enjoyed seeing all the bits move and they have had it out a few times since to test out different designs and see what they can build.
Don’t worry if flowers are not your thing as Learning Resources have lots of other fantastic Gears! Gears! Gears! sets including under the sea, movin’ monkeys and some great motorised sets too with Dizzy fun land looking like the one we would enjoy most.
