May the Fourth be with you

We love celebrating Star Wars Day on “May the 4th” (#starwarsday) and this year is even more exciting as we eagerly await the next instalment in the Star Wars Saga. To help celebrate Star Wars Day the Disney Store will have lots of fabulous in-store events and activities for families.

If you are in London you can head to the Disney Store, Oxford Street on Monday, May 4th to meet actor Jeremy Bulloch, who plays Boba Fett. You can also take a selfie with Master Yoda before the figure joins the new Star Wars experience at Madame Tussauds London, which opens on Saturday, May 16th.

On May 2nd-4th across the rest of the UK the Disney Store will have free ‘Ways of the Force’ (#waysoftheforce) activities where families can learn some of the skills of the Jedi, including how to use a lightsaber.  On completion of Jedi training each guest will be given a Stormtrooper mask and medal. You can take part in Disney Store’s “Return of the Jedi” collector cards activity. There are 12 cards to collect and each week for four weeks from Friday Disney Store will release three cards. To collect the cards you need to check the Disney Store UK Facebook page each Friday for the special key phrase and go in store to collect the cards for that week.

I popped into our local Disney Store yesterday to see all the amazing merchandise that they have on display and I was so tempted to buy it all. The Talking Yoda was my favourite, the animatronics on that were amazing for just £25. Here are a selection of some of my favourite Star Wars items.

Don’t forget to share your photos of your Star Wars celebrations at Disney Store using the hashtag #waysoftheforce

For now May the Force be with you!
